JUNE 13, 2020
I usually don’t document when I dance around in my garden. Maybe it’s this sweet strawberry full moon, maybe it’s the waves of change washing over us all...also could be my excitement over collaborating with the mighty Mile Zero Dance on June 13th. It’s going to be a cyber Garden Party that will take us from the prairies of Canada to Montreal, Berlin, London, Tokyo, and even my little garden here in the mountains of Valencia. Hope you can join in on the fun🌟❤️💃

And then on May 18th I'll be doing a live stream on FB as part of #CanadaPerforms. Cyber see you soon. xo w

Well- CV-19 has definitely been taking its toll on things and of course many of my shows are cancelled or postponed. But some good news- borders were still open to courier deliveries and my beautiful new custom made Weltmeister accordion has arrived safely! Thank you Weltmeister! I look forward to making much beautiful music together. So....heeeeere's Ruby!

Spring is here and the air is filled with possibilities (and coronavirus, so wash those hands kids) News from here: I have updated some of my upcoming shows but more will be appearing over the next couple of weeks. Alma- the little tree that I planted last year has dropped her blossoms and is well on her way to shaping her first almonds. And speaking of transitions- my loyal and lovely Delicia accordion (hand made in Czech Republic) is on her last breath. Sooooo many memories and travels with this dear one in my arms. But there is some exciting news on the horizon...
Happy 2020 Everyone!
May this be the year when we realize the interconnectedness of all things. Where we see past the crazy and into the true. Where we treasure the tiny things. This January 19th morning 2020, I had planned to attend the big St.Antoni festivities where everyone brings their animals to the local church for a blessing. Horses, dogs, chickens, cats, ferrets, etc. It's quite an event. Alas- big rains have cancelled things. So, instead I thought I will honour some of the animals in my last album 'Hunger Made You Brave'. A robin, a wolf, a fox, a bear, and a few others all come together in the songs and story. To give them a wider life I'm offering the cd and booklet for just 10 euro (plus postage)until the end of January. If you want a copy- message me and we will make it happen. xo WM

Such a beautiful time at KalternPop Festival. Here's a little glimpse of one of my favourite moments. A matinee show in an old ballroom on a mountain top. Such a Common Bird has never sounded better. Featuring Guy Fowler on Bass and members of Stargaze on strings.

The new video!
'The Robin's Request'
In ‘The Robin’s Request’ a Robin explores the cycle of life and death from a bird’s eye view with a little help from its ancestors and Albert Einstein. The Robin is one of many characters that help to narrate the tale/ album ‘Hunger Made You Brave’
“Red is flame- strength and danger / Red is blood and the help of strangers / Red is cunning- fur on fox, love of mother, sparks on rocks / Red will come through feathered songs And help those who listen carry on...” From HMYB
